Has anyone gotten WC3 Kilrathi Saga to work on....

Virtual PC Windows 98 SE? I have got it working perfect with no crashing, except now that movies and sound stutter really bad. Im using Virtual PC 2007 (512 megs of ram dedicated to it) to get into Win98 SE. The host system is Win XP with 2 gigs dual channel ram, Core 2 Duo 1.86ghz Sound Blaster Live and redeon X1950 256 meg.
 
Try lowering the sound hardware acceleration settings in the win98 control panel either under sound/ multimedia or in the directx settings. If need be, experiment with different levels and see what happens.
 
Have you installed the Virtual Machine Additions in your guest Windows 98SE? This will give you improved performance. (See the VirtualPC help for more details)
 
Yea, actually I tried both lowering the sounnd acceleration, and I did install the virtual machine additions, both of which I tried before I made my original post about this issue. Thanks though! Any other ideas?
 
I haven't personally tried it, but some people have reported in the past that VMWare has better performance.
