Gladius Y/P/R rates

I was going over the technical data on the Gladius and it reads as Y/P/R 80/70/80. When I tested it out in the sim, it seems to pitch up faster than it yaws. I checked it by finding the jump bouy in the simulator, pitching up, then comparing it to yawing. Yaw is side to side, right? And pitch is up and down? So if the pitch is faster, then shouldn't it read 70/80/80? I could be wrong, but I thought I'd post it in case I'm right; there are pilots who's lives could depend on it! ;)

Hmmm.... seems it might be a mistake that has gone unnoticed for the past three years. :p

Heh it's no worse than the spelling mistake I found in the Ep1 fiction a few weeks ago. :D

It's still a work in progress :D

Ok, that makes a difference then in how I fly it. After passing an enemy head on, I usually turn to the side, but I will loop over (or under) in a Gladius. Kind of like a WC1 Dralthi.

It's the difference between 4.5 and 5.1 seconds to pull a full loop on that particular axis. If you're trying to get back on the tail of something you've passed head on, then you're going for 180 degrees, so that difference between the two would be 0.3 seconds. Kind of hard to measure, and probably not the only factor that should play into which way you turn.

It actually hasn't changed the way I fly since I found the difference to be minimal in practice. Also, I didn't do a thorough check with a stopwatch, just going off my impression from trying it (and I'm sure the fact that I kept bumping into my wingman when I turned sideways was bound to throw things off). I wasn't saying it was wrong with that topic post, I was just asking if it was right.

Considering that even the Forstchen books have typos, I think that's very forgivable.
