Getting Win98 to ACKNOLEDGE my boot disk.

Silly? Hardly. My computer (a Compaq custom with a P3 733 mhz and Win98) doesn't seem to use my book disk when rebooting. I do Restart in MS-DOS, and the memory (640K) is the same as when I don't use it. Plus, the floppy drive is obviously not accessed. What can I do?

First thing to do is check in the BIOS that the boot sequence is something like A:, C: or FLOPPY, HDD-0 or something similar. Make sure it checks the floppy first.

Heh, so Kris beat me by about 90 seconds :P
