Getting My USB Joystick Working with WC: KS SM's

Does anyone know how to get the SM's to run using a USB Stick?

Suggestions?

I just brought a Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro Shock. I dont want to buy another stick to hook-up to my sound card game port just to play SM's.
 
Your joy is not working specifically with the Kilrathi Saga Secret Missions 1? ?

Why ? Is it OK with WC 1?
