Favorite Fan Mod/remake?

I apologize if this is in the wrong place... not really sure where to put it, but oh well...

For me... the winner is undoubtably Privateer Gemini Gold, with Standoff coming in a VERY close second! (To be fair, it is only because i'm partial to Privateer). In all other respects, i find it impossible to choose between the two. Both are such good games.

Considering you put it in a specific fan projects forum, a poll about your favorite project isn't really appropriate there so I've moved it into the main fan project/ editing forum.

I think you're missing a big one on the poll - Saga, the FreeSpace 2 mod. It's going slow, but they did release a 'prologue' set of missions a while back.

(Standoff gets the vote for me - it's the perfect tribute to the original games... *exactly* what a fan project should be.)

Unknown Enemy for me. It is one awesome mod and I like the fact that it is based on the BW side of the War on the Nephilim

I really like the concept of the ASCII game, but I vote for Standoff, the best thing around when it comes to fan mods.

As dearly as I love Standoff, I have to say I was more impressed with the Homeworld 2 mod. Hopefully, the big C will find some time to finish the Black Lance forces and release a new Beta.
