I'm running into a problem with the installer for Wc1 and I can't get it to enable sound on the latest dosbox and d-fend.
The problem is that the installation program has to ask which drive I am installing from and which I am installing to. This is where it gets stuck because the files are already on the hard drive. Is there a way to trick the program into thinking its already installed so that the sound can be configured?
Its a very old program and it doesn't read CD-rom drives even though its on a CD. It always asks me to "Please insert your original Wing Commander disk 1" and then I can't do anything to get past that and close out the installation program. Any suggestions?
