Dosbox - Master of the Orion

I know this is off topic, but anyone have any instructions/help for running Master of the Orion in dosbox? I mounted my C:\ and my D:\ (cdrom) installed the game fine but when I try to run it it gives me cannot find f.cdrom error. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a general DOSBox error. How did you mount the CD-ROM? You don't do it the same way you mount a hard drive.

Well, oddly enough I got it working in XP without using dosbox. Still, I'm sure I did something wrong with dosbox. Yeah, basically I tried mounting it the same way I mounted my c:\ drive. I just typed "Mount d d:\" and it did it. What do I need to do to mount a cd rom drive?

Im not pretty sure since I havent done it yet. Either way try typing "INTRO CDROM" from the command point to get help.

BTW, do you mount both C: and D: in the same DOSBox session?

Thats the error. You should have used:

mount D D:\ -t cdrom
