DooM III (no gifs)

Dyret

Super Carrot!
My brother downloaded the doom 3 beta a while back. (guess it's illegal)
I tried the first and second level and it was a bit strange:
Some of the monsters would just stand there no matter what the player did.¨
you started with full ammo and all weapons, some rooms was just big metal boxes. Anyway i'm sure it will be good once its finished.
Just wanted to know what you guys think about it.

I have stopped posting gifs:)

what

I wanted to know what you think about doom 3, not the fact that my brother downloaded the beta version.

(I'm really sorry about that .GIF thing people, it wont happen again)

I'll be honest, I played a copy of the 'Alpha' (it's not a beta, hence why I am willing to bet money you could barely run it).
You were playing a poor version of the game engine, that is why nothing worked. Even on my 9800 pro the game crawled.
Do yourself a favour and wait for the full thing, it is worth it.

I don't know. I'm tired of games where things are always coming at ya. They should just stand there and nod and blink at you and be like 'mmm hmmm'.

In the beta they wont come at ya, their AL isnt completed.
And when they do come at you, the programming is written in the top corner, making the whole damn thing much less scary. One time i walked against the exit, suddently i heard a hellknight, one of the most dangerous enemies in the game but when i reached him he was very busy getting his head stuck in the wall and did not even notice me!

Their AL isn't completed? Do the monsters need holographic images of Dean Stockwell standing there telling them what Gushie found out about the time period they're stuck in, whilst smoking a cigar and tapping away at a see through calculator?

Quantam computing indeed.

The code is being displayed in the corner as it's showing the user what functions are being called etc. Otherwise known as 'developers mode'. It's always turned off on the final release game but in the mean time developers keep it on to show them frames per second, any errors in scripts etc.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the spider mastermind again.
It's kinda stupid that imps can climb walls though.

The mastermind was pretty cool, could only be killed with a rocket launcher or the plasma gun. But the cyber demon was almost invincible, you had to use 70 rockets or so to bring it down. really mean demons.

I liked that thing that could raise the dead. Doom was a brilliant game.

Thats the Archvile. I hated that thing when playing on ultra violence.
They will be in doom 3 as well.
