Doh, speed issue - Prophecy off all games

!DOH! Dunno how it's doing it, but my Wing Commander Prophecy has speed issues - the movies play way too fast, and the gameplay seems a little fast

and the faster your computer the smarter the buggin ai appears to be

Intel Pentium III 600mhz [never had a problem before with this cpu]
ATI Radeon 32meg DDR
512megs of ram
Direct X 8

Try lowering or disabling the sound acceleration in DirectX.
