Does Windows 2000 Support WC Prophecy?

I'm running a P4, win2k pro machine, with directx 8.1
i keep getting an error everytime i try to play it. WC.exe has generated an error

HELP, i'm an addict i need a WC fix!!

There is a win2k patch at the file section.
But everytime i try to select a graphic mode like direct3d, an error message accures that the dynamic link library glide2x.dll is not found in the directory.....

after installing the patch the game starts, but everytime i try to start a mission the game crashes. what now?

Are you running the game on a Voodoo board? Install the Voodoo patch we have in the files section.

yeah i have the same problem, i get about 1/2 thou the first mission then it crashes.

Hrm... I've got a tnt2

Will my tnt2 be able to use the glide optimizations?
I don't have the voodoo so no patch needed?

The TNT2 doesn't use glide, so you don't need that patch.

Does windows 2000 have plug and play detection on joysticks? I've got a thrustmaster (plugged into my midi port) but it just won't detect it

any suggestions?

You have to either downlaod the lastest driver from the manufacturer site and install it, or if it's listed in the default Win2k drivers list you just have to go to the Control Panel, double click Game Controllers and click Add.

m working on a P-3/850 Laptop with Windows 2k installed.
The grafic card is an ATI Rage Pro LT (AGP Version) with an unofficial driver that supports Direct X 8.xx.

I have applied the Win2k patch, never the less there are persistent problems.
If i run the game in Direct 3D-mode it crashes after i have killed the second enemy no matter what mission...
