i am trying to install WCSO but each time it says i need to install directx 5.I have directx 9 installed on my comp already.Can anyone help me out thanks.

Try install directx 5 of the cd. I've had mine go curropt once and fixed it by doing this.

Let it...
Many games force you to install old versions of DX in the course of installation. The way directx is constructed however an old version does not replace files already there, so no damage will be done anyhow (except when MS screwed up somewhere...)
