Deinterlacing privateer 2

Is it possible to remove the lines in the videos while playing privateer 2? They're really beginning to irritate me.

I have the windows 95 version (running on w2k perfectly just by using the win slowdown patch!). Someone on these boards mentioned a switch which they thought could be -nointerlace or -no_interlace. I've tried these to no avail.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I only recall -nointerlace in conjunction with wc4. I don't think there is a parameter like it in P2

But then I remember going through exactly the same irritation with my original DOS version, so I guess it can't deinterlace, unless the movie codec can be modified or something.
