D3d Registry Problem For Wcp

The files page quite clearly says "Apply after manual installs only". I ran one of them once for the hell of it, and reinstalled WCP to fix it.

WCP D3D REGISTRY LIKE I SAID EARLIER

I REINSTALLED WCP AND I STILL GET SAME PROBLEM FOR THE LAUNCHER WHEN I TRY TO SELECT VIDEO CARD THATS WHEN IT CRASHES.. HOW CAN I GET RID OF IT FROM THE REGISTRY ITSELF ON WINDOWS XP BY USING REGEDIT?????

SAME AS EARLIER

I GET A GLIDE2X.DLL ERROR THAT CRASHED THE LAUNCHER.. CAN IT BE FROM ALSO THE D3D REGISTRY?? AND ALSO 3DFX REGISTRY? HOW CAN I FIX THIS PROBLEM OR GET OF DIRECT3D REG FROM REGEDIT THAT WAS FOR WCP.. 3DFX TOOLS WORKS FINE FOR MY OTHER GAMES.. I EVER GOT THIS ERROR TILL I IMPORTED D3DFUL.REG AND GLIDE3DFX.REG CAN IT BE ONE OF THOSE.. I AM USING WINDOWS XP.. HOW CAN I FIX THIS PROBLEM?

Try uninstalling the game, removing anything relating to WCP from the registry, then reinstalling. Don't forget to either apply compatibility settings on the shortcut or apply the win2k patch too since you're running winxp. Oh, and turn off your caps lock before you post again.
 
same problem

WHILE INSTALLING I GET A WHITE SCREEN AND AFTER ITS DONE IT ASKS FOR CD#2 AND IT DOES THE SAME FOR REST OF THEM AND THATS HOW THE LAUNCHER DOESNT WORK.. ANY PROBLEMS ON HOW TO FIX THIS?

FIXED THAT PROBLEM BY SOMETHING ELSE

I FIXED IT BY RENAMING GL0002.DLL TO GLIDE2X.DLL AND IT FIXED THAT PROBLEM.. IS THERE LATEST VERSION THAT FILE FOR IT TO SEE 3DFX?

sorry bout the caps

sorry bout the caps.. windows xp is very strange in its own way.. i wonder if there is a way for it to see 3dfx for wcp right now it sees it as d3d while 3dfx tools is installed.. i renamed that file to glide2x.dll and that worked and i can play it but is there a way for it to see 3dfx itself?
