Converting .tga to anything else (.bmp/.jpeg/.gif)

Hey everyone, how do I convert .tga to any other format that editable in MS Paint? No Regret comes with a screenshot program and I need to convert the .tga is saves as to anything else.

tga's are easily converted - it's an extremely common format (TARGA is its name). Search for that and you'll get tons of apps that'll do it... and most apps perform much better than Paint, anyhow.
 
Paint Shop Pro for example...

BTW - useless technical tidbit: You know in which way TGA is unique over all other graphic formats?
It is the only one I know of that allows saving in 16-bit color depth (some others allow as well, but the file is as large as it would be in 24 bit format which makes it useless)
