Codec problems with the Darkening Making of Video.

I can't get any picture when I run the Darkening M.O. video file that showed up a couple days ago on the news page. So I know this is a codec problem. Is there any special codec I need. I've listed the ones I've got installed below.

DivX
HBO
SMR
There's a few others installed but I don't really know what they are since I never use them.
Any help would be appreciated.:)
 
I have version 4.0 of DivX and it's not an audio problem, the audio's fine. I just have no picture.

You probably need DivX 3.11 too, though. Older DivX and newer DivX hate eachother.
 
Or DivX 5 which has been out a while now. There's quite a few videos encoded in that these days and version 4 won't play version 5 files.

Will 3.11 overwrite 4.0 or will both be able to run on the same machine without replacing each other?
 
They won't replace eachother, and your movie player will automatically pick the correct one.

However, if you install 4 or 5 after 3.11, it will ask if you want it to play old content too. Just select "no" in that case.
