Hey all,
I'm not sure this really needs "tech support", but it seemed like the best of the forums to post this under. Gavinfoxx recently pointed me out to a number of materials related to Privateer 3, including a CIC article from last June (https://www.wcnews.com/news/4265). One of the items on the list for download from that article is entitled "WCU Map Update for Privateer 3". As best I can tell, it's a Visio file (.vsd). I have been trying to get that file to open for the past day or two without success; this is after uploading the MS 2010 Visio Viewer and a few tools that should've allowed me to open up older Visio files. I keep getting the message "The file you are trying to open was created in an unsupported version of Microsoft Office Visio. For a list of supported versions, see the Microsoft Office Visio Viewer Help".
Anybody got any idea what might be going on? I suppose the file itself could be 15 years old, but the article was from last June so I would think the file would've been checked before it was made available as a download.
Definitely going to have to check out the rest of that article, though...I finally get the reference in Star*Soldier...
