can't open diary??

Hi,

i have a problem with the electronic diary in privateer 2. I can't open the diary with ALT-D and i can't save. I don't know why i can't open the diary.
Have someone an idea, make i something wrong or forgot i something.
The game runs with dos-box 0.61 and the game has no other problems.

I could be wrong (It has been a few years since I played Priv2) but I thought they key to bring up the pad was 'P'.

you can only save when your planet side and you save using your pad.

Sie muss auf dem Planet abspeichern. Denn, pressen die "P " Taste.

Der Pad funktioniert nur innerhalb der Basen/auf den Planeten - und auch nur dort kann man abspeichern.

Yeah, I'm still learning basic German and I doubt we will be learning anything on "keys" and "saving". I tried guessing which would have the same meaning on dict.leo.org

I also forgot to put "Sie" after pressen. Heh oh well.

Never mind, German is hard to get used to. The easiest way is just to live there and pick it up. As far as WC goes (not to stray too far off topic), it has created some interesting translation quirks - and the use of formal and informal address (Du/Sie) is also nice to watch.
