Can anyone help me with my joystick? (Privateer 1)

I cannot get my Wingman Extreme Digital 3D joystick to work in DOS. It is plugged into my soundcard, and my soundcard is finally working in DOS, however my Joystick will not respond. It works prefectly fine in Windows, however.

I would really appreciate ANY help.

I'm not sure if Wingman Extreme Digital 3D will work in DOS. I know for sure it won't work using the USB connecter. Try using the game port connector and add J200 to the end of the SET BLASTER= line to activate a joystick port.
Example:
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 P330 J200

P1 only uses two buttons.You won't able to use the Wingman software in DOS. I used to own the old Wingman Extreme Digital and it did work under DOS.
