Blue screen with WC 4

Hi there. I just got a new copy of WC4 since the dog broke disk one of my origianal.

My problem is this, constant blue screens. Any ideas?

I'm running a
p3 500
524megs of ram.
Gforce 4 mx 420
Soundblaster 16

All the install movie and sound tests work but when i try to play the game itself it crashes

If you can help id be very greatful

How did that happen?

please define "blue screen" and tell us what happens when the game crashes. (for instance, is there an error message?)

Are you playing wc4 in DOS or Windows?

Assuming you're referring to the infamous Windows "Blue Screen of Death", you could try running WC4 in DOS mode, or try the Win95 Patch.

I didn't know they made 12MB SDRAMs...

If the suggestions below don't fix it, try running scandisk and defrag before reinstalling.
