afterburn?

how's afterburn gonna work? is it going to be fuel limited like the WC games or is it going to be unlimited short bursts of speed like in Freespace 2?

It is going to be exactly like in the wing commander games. On mission-start you have a specific amount of afterburner fuel dependend on the figher you fly, and once used up, you are not only slow, you will be in trouble too

Starman is right, once fuel is depleted you are dead meat in space. You have no chance of evading incoming missiles
