Here are the top games for 2006, based on Xbox Live connectivity.

Remember, UU's is the number of Gamertags that have played a game. In the case of Arcade titles, that list is ranked by purchased games. That is why the Arcade titles may be ranked out of order on the top list. Some Arcade titles may be purchased by one Gamertag, but played by multiple Gamertags.

Does that mean most purchased or actually most played?

Intersting that Uno is on the list... but Robotron and Totem Ball aren't. It must sell a heck of a lot beyond just coming with the camera (also, Hexic -- shouldn't it be #1?).

Camera aside, I bought three of these games last year -- DooM, Galaga and Feeding Frenzy. I also bought Defender, which I regretted.

I do hope they do Feeding Frenzy 2 for the YBox. It's nice simple fun.

Yeah, I remember them talking about hitting hundreds of thousands for Uno before the camera bundle was released.

It looks like Hexic isn't counted with Arcade games, since you can't purchase it in the Arcade I guess. In the master list of all (retail and Arcade) games, Hexic comes in at #2 behind Gears of War. That list is ranked by "unique users" it seems, which counts how many people with a gamertag logged into XBox Live playing that game.
