or you can legitimately work your way to buying X radar, then when you buy a new ship add exactly the $ needed to your account in your savegame to puchase another radar system for the new ship, and save yourself the hassle of transferring your bloody radar every time you switch ships.

Particularly when I have multiple missions that both involve the same nav point, either bounty or patrol and bounty are most typical. I will go to a nav, kill everything, and it iwll complete my objective for only one of my missions, I have to autopilot to the nav or fly around the system...

I had no problems getting my X45 to work, I have a fairly standard profile that I use and just swap key bindings in the games to match up with it. Its somewhere on my hard drive.. i usually just configure it with directx and use in game button remapping if i dont need to uteilize the profile.

I also agree that the affects should be permanent with higher penalty for killing VS running and only being detected.

thanks for the info on vegastrike. I am not able to model unfortunately but I am willing to ocassionally sit down and meticulously tweak settings until they feel right, etc. I have to download this game before I make too many other suggestions atm, the orion is just such a piece of junk...
