Operation Crusade - 2655

The Defense of Firekka was a major engagement fought between the Terran Confederation and the Kilrathi Empire during the Terran-Kilrathi War in 2655.

Prelude

During the year 2655, the Terran Confederation decided to establish a formal alliance with the Firekkans, a bird-like race native to the frontier system of Firekka in the Epsilon Sector. In desperate need of allies with whom to combat the brutal Kilrathi, the Terrans sought to establish a military alliance with the Firekkans, agreeing to protect them from the Kilrathi invaders.
