This page collects all of the Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom communications videos which are present in the game's files but do not have audio. These do not play during regular gameplay.

Speradon K4A & K4B

These BWS Intrepid comms intended to play if the player did not have a wingman when prompted to use the IFF codes.

IF Blair answers NEGATIVE, his wingman will come
on the screen (OR Sosa will return IF Blair's
flying solo) with --
WINGMAN OR SOSA (COMM SCREEN)
Those codes could be very
helpful, Colonel.
And Blair will have one more chance to signal
AFFIRMATIVE or NEGATIVE...
Regardless of his response, Blair's nav-map now
has the new nav point added to it.
When Blair arrives at the new nav point, he
sees...
...A cap ship. But unlike any he's ever seen.
It is sleek, massive, and devoid of insignia.
It also appears unescorted.
IF Blair accepted the IFF codes, he receives a
transmission from his wingman (OR Sosa IF he's
flying solo) --
WINGMAN OR SOSA (COMM SCREEN)
Activate IFF codes, Colonel.

Callimachus M2

These variations of the mission's script were intended to allow Excell or Tex to be your wingman. In the final game neither can be selected.

Sosa: Hold on...hold it...hold it... hold it... sir - before you jump, Sosa: I'm downloading coordinates to you for a starbase we've located Sosa: orbiting the second planet in Axius. Sosa: Now we've just detected it through the jump point and one thing for sure: Sosa: This thing is way too big for you to try and take on by yourself. Sosa: So we are assuming you'll be attempting to slip in quietly Sosa: without opening fire and land there. Good luck, Colonel.

BWS Intrepid

These videos were intended to play alongside debriefings when ejected wingmen were recovered during a mission. The Lexington has this functionality but the Intrepid does not.
