Sumn-Kp'ta is a star system in the Clarke Quadrant of Gemini Sector, one of three border systems within the Sector that were part of the Kilrathi Empire until the Empire's collapse in 2669, after which they became possessions of the Terran Confederation. The system mainly served as a transfer station for raiders originating in the Trk'Pahn Sector.
