On 2654.284, the kilrathi attacked the Terran Confederation colony of Hubble's Star IV in the Hubble's Star System. The TCS Tiger's Claw, which had been dispatched to the system a few days prior, launched most of her fighters to aid in the planet's defense.

However, a short time later the Claw sounded a Code Red. A flight of bogies had jumped into the system 50,000 klicks away from the Claw and had then disappeared into a nearby asteroid field.

The Claw dispatched Phi Wing, consisting of Christopher Blair and Kien Chen, to investigate the bogies and preform a quick strike if possible.

The pair launched and encountered three Krant fighters in the asteroid field. But upon returning to the Claw, the pair discovered that the bulk of the force, four Gratha and two Jalthi, had doubled back and were attacking the Claw. Blair and Chen quickly joined the fight and aided in the defense of the Tiger's Claw.
