On 2654.278, the Terran Confederation was continuing it's ongoing offensive against the Empire of Kilrah's forces in the Kurasawa System. Some of the events that occurred in the Kurasawa System on this date were:

• The CSS Suffolk destroyed a Kilrathi communications station on Kurasawa IV during the Confederation siege of the planet.
• While on a patrol around Kurasawa IV , TCS Tiger's Claw pilots "Lightning" and Joseph Khumalo, came under attack by two wings of Gratha. The pair managed to destroy five Gratha before Lightning was killed.
• The Tiger's Claw recieved a Code Blue transmission from a Ralari-class Destroyer that Confederation marines had captured in the Port Hedland System. Sector Command wanted to use the ship in the siege of Kurasawa IV, so it ordered the Tiger's Claw to provide an escort. The Tiger's Claw launched Omicron Wing, flown by Christopher Blair and Kien Chen, to provide escort for the Ralari. During the mission, the pair encountered four Gratha and four Salthi fighters and was forced to navigate an asteroid field.
