Friend or foe missile

The Friend or Foe Missile was a projectile weapon used by the Terran Confederation and Kilrathi fleets. The missile locked on the nearest ship not broadcasting a friendly communications signal. As a result they could accidentally target friendly ships with damaged communications systems, including the ship firing the missile. The Pilum FF was a Terran Confederation version of the missile. Friend or Foe missiles were found on the Rapier II, Raptor, Venture, Krant and Jalthi.
