TCS Coventry

The TCS Coventry was a Southampton-Class Destroyer that served with the Terran Confederation during the Terran-Kilrathi War. In 2669, it was a member of Destroyer Squadron 67 alongside the TCS Sheffield and the TCS Ajax. It was assigned as an escort to the TCS Victory.

In 2669, the Coventry was present at the destruction of Locanda, the successful incursion at Ariel, and was an escort to the TCS Behemoth during that ship's activation. The Coventry attempted to defend the Behemoth when it was attacked in the Loki System, but this failed when the Behemoth was destroyed and the Coventry itself was hit by a Kilrathi mine or a missile. The Coventry survived the attack, but the bridge was blown out, killing everyone except Jason Bondarevsky, a legendary war hero who lost his right arm due to the attack.

Despite the damage it sustained, the Coventry remained by the Victory's side through the offensive at Freya and joined the Terran fleet stationed there as Colonel Christopher Blair deployed the Y22A-1 Temblor Bomb against Kilrah, which finally ended the Terran-Kilrathi War.
