Acceleration Absorbers are a common technology on Confederation Fighters in 2654. Some of the ships mounting acceleration Absorbers include Hornets, Rapier IIs, Scimitars, and Raptors. Acceleration absorbers help to reduce the effects of high velocity maneuvering on the pilot's body that at space combat speeds would otherwise be lethal.
