The Terran Star Base is the larger version of the space station. It is nearly three times the size of its smaller cousin and houses significantly more forces. Four flak cannons and a normal-sized fighter contingent supply the bases defenses. Able to withstand most attacks on their own, these bases have been built by the Confederation in systems that are strategically important to the war effort and society in general. Defense of such stations was often the linchpin in many of the campaigns during the Terran-Kilrathi War.
