I am new here :) I don't know the article's sources but currently I am watching the Academy cartoon episodes and the article doesn't tell anything about it. For starters, Maverick is seen sending messages to his parents, whom the article mentions to be dead. Second, he is seen transferred to the Claw still in his academy years, while the movie doesn't mention anything about it. And finally, several events from the cartoon episodes are kept silent from the article.

So, what is the policy here? Should we add some things from the cartoons or are they non-canon? Paladin 03:26, 12 May 2008 (CDT)

My understanding is that the 'parents' in WCATV are his foster parents - that is, his aunt and uncle. It's not that the series is 'kept silent', just that no one has contributed information from it yet. The WCATV series is definitely part of the 'canon'. - Wedge

How can Blair be 'born to a farmer' if Devi was his biological mother? Also, did Blair really marry Rachel? I don't have The Price of Freedom novel, but I always thought Blair and Rachel were only in a relationship with each other and hadn't actually got married. - Wedge

Do we have a source for the claim that Blair's average kill rate was 400 per year? Player character aside, that's an extraordinary number of kills in the WC universe - compare with Maniac's score of 2000 from his entire career from WC1 to just before Prophecy. - Wedge
