Maybe I'm crazy but did the Yorktowns REALLY go into retire after the War? I may be wrong but wasn't the Lexington a Yorktown class, or was it some variant?

You may be confusing the Yorktown with the Concordia, which was virtually identical visually. The Concordias are relatively new, but Yorktowns like the Victory met their day long ago. In the WC universe, Confed had not choice but to reactivate old carriers to replace the newer ones that got destroyed. I presume you are thinking of the vessels in WC4. Those were Concordias. The TCS Lexington was a Concordia in that game.
If you're thinking of the Lexington from Armada, that's a totally different ship. It's not related to either the Concordia or the Yorktown. I'm not sure I fully understand your question, so let me know if any of this helps.

I was referring to WC4's TCS Lexington. But thanks for clearing that up.
