Transcript

2ND LIEUTENANT TROY "CATSCRATCH" CARTER: Can I ask you something, Colonel?

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: What's up, partner?

2ND LIEUTENANT TROY "CATSCRATCH" CARTER: Attacking that convoy: is... is this the way wars start?

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Let me tell you something, Catscratch. Wars are like bombs -- the fuse gets lit before you actually hear the bang. And sometimes the fuse can be pretty long.

2ND LIEUTENANT TROY "CATSCRATCH" CARTER: Did you know I was from the Border Worlds, sir?

COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Figured you were Terran-born, if anything.

2ND LIEUTENANT TROY "CATSCRATCH" CARTER: Terran-educated. But my parents were third generation Border Worlders. I guess I'm just having some problems with these missions, sir: on whether they're right.
