Pyrenees is a star system in the Humboldt Quadrant of the Gemini Sector featuring Basque, a mining base and New Iberia, an agricultural planet.

Basque was Roman Lynch's base of operations around 2670. During that year, he offered any privateer that could assassinate Governor Menesch a data wipe, giving them a tabula rasa with all of Gemini's factions except the Retros and Kilrathi. The same service could ordinarily be bought from Lynch for the sum of 200,000 credits.
