(Once you start from the planet, this laser goes on an empty hardpoint if you have one, otherwise it replaces the gun in the first slot, for which you are not reimbursed. So better sell one weapon before taking off) |

Only 1 of the Vectors is attacking McCloud. It's important to kill this one first.
Official Guide
Ralph's a great guy, and he's in a lot of trouble. It's worth it to rescue him out of the simple goodness of your heart. Of course, the Kraven Mk IV laser that he'll give you if he lives aren't bad either.
Trigger
CD 2 has to be present. The first time it can occur is after Shernikov Medical Supplies of Crius has been visited and the next stop is Jan Mitorr.
Decline
The subplot ends. You lose your only chance at getting Kraven lasers. (Kravens don't become available on the CCN until you've successsfully completed the mission.)
