Script
Shooting Script
A Wing Commander IV shooting script has been digitized from the collection of the University of Texas at Austin. A digital version (extracted below) was posted to Origin's Wing Commander IV website in 1996.
briefing d2 - Eisen - chart room -d2 NOTE: Like the Galley/Upper Galley, the Chart Room and C.I.C. are actually one location subdivided into two different areas. Whenever Blair enters, both areas will be visible and he will be able to select conversations in both areas. In this script, "Chart Room" refers to the foreground area. "C.I.C." refers to an elevated area in the background.
All briefings aboard the Intrepid take place in the Chart Room area and are NEVER available until ALL previous REQUIRED scenes have played. Blair will probably first have to enter the Chart Room/C.I.C. and then be able to choose to "attend briefing."
Blair enters and salutes Eisen who stands next to a large WALL SCREEN that will display maps and mission objectives.
Blair Happy to see you back where you belong, Captain.
Eisen Thank you, Colonel. You had no small part in it. (pointing to map) As you know, to avoid further harassment from Confed forces, the Intrepid's going to try to make its way out of the system through this nebula. I'd like you and a wingman to scout ahead and sweep the area of any hostiles you might encounter.
Blair Understood, sir.
Blair exits.
