Sparky was a rookie assigned to Green Squadron during the Border Worlds Crisis of 2673. He was assigned to escort a medical transport, the TCS Amadeus, to the Megaron System. He flew an Hellcat V alongside fellow pilots Russo and Vinman. He flew as Green 2.
While the convoy was in Hellespont, they came under attack by a squadron of Black Lance starfighters posing as Union of Border Worlds craft. Russo was the first to be shot down, so Sparky frantically tried to find his wingleader. Before he could react, the Black Lance leader, "Seether", appeared in front of Sparky's craft. Sparky watched helplessly as Seether fired on his starfighter, killing the young rookie.
