Venice is a star system in Vega Sector. As of April 2654, it was controlled by the Empire of Kilrah. The Kilrathi name for the system was Kharak Tar. Prior to it's destruction by Terran Confederation forces, the kilrathi's sector command was located on a Star Post in the system.
The system has one inhabited planet, which is a water planet. The system got it's name because of the ruins on the planet, which are sinking into the ocean.
The TCS Tiger's Claw launched several missions in the system during the final days of the Vega Sector Campaign in 2654. These included:
- Several recon patrols. One of which encountered a Ralari-class Destroyer on 2654.287.
- A joint assault against a Fralthi-class Cruiser with fighters from the TCS Kyoto on 2654.288.
- The escort of the Tiger's Claw as it moved to attack the Kilrathi High Command's star post.
- The destruction of the star post which led to the end of the Vega Sector Campaign.
