Acceleration Absorbers are a common technology on Confederation Fighters in 2654.  Some of the ships mounting acceleration Absorbers include [[Hornet]]s, [[Rapier II]]s, [[Scimitar]]s, and [[Raptor]]s.  Acceleration absorbers help to reduce the effects of high velocity maneuvering on the pilot's body that at space combat speeds would otherwise be lethal.
