This weapon features a new kind of ignition chamber that provides a dramatic increase in damage. It overheats unbelievably fast however, and is only available through contacts outside the CCN.

These lasers are the most powerful around, but they aren't available until you successfully complete the Ralph McCloud mission. Ralph gives you a single Kraven as a reward, which is placed on an empty hardpoint or replaces your cheapest gun if there are no empty hardpoints. (You will be refunded for the gun that is replaced.)
These guns deliver more damage than any other in the game. However, veteran pilots will warn you that they overheat in a matter of seconds, especially if you have more than one. Don't even think about loading up multiple Kravens without a Coolant Unit Mk III or IV.
