The massive coup lead by military commanders against the {Planet} government was showing signs of lost momentum last night. Loyalist forces have come out strongly, and rebel forces are hold up in mountainous country some 100 km from the planet's capital. CIS forces have intervened, establishing a controlled exclusion zone around the planet in an attempt to prevent smugglers supplying rebels with firearms, which the rebel generals are offering very high prices for.
