Mickey Bitscoe was the Midshipman Lieutenant who led the 201st Plebe Class through their first day at the Academy. One of Lt. Bitscoe's first actions was to punish Todd Marshall for asking about his duffel bag containing personal possessions. Marshall was forced to load 600 duffel bags by himself onto a conveyor while his fellow plebes stood at rigid attention. The task took Marshall almost two hours to complete.
Lt. Bitscoe then marched the plebes to the barber's shop and continued for six hours as then went through the necessary enrollment procedures for the Academy.
