The Confederation Star Base is the larger version of the Confederation space station. It is nearly three times the size of its smaller cousin and houses significantly more forces. Four flak cannons and a standard fighter contingent supply the bases defenses. Able to withstand most attacks on their own, these bases have been built by the Confederation in systems that are strategically important to the war effort and civilian society in general. Defense of such stations was often the focus of many of the campaigns during the Terran-Kilrathi War.
