Enyo is a star system in the Vega Sector (XR-231.3). As of April 2654, it was controlled by the Terran Confederation. The Enyo system has at least one planet, also named Enyo. It was the site of the 2639 Enyo Engagement.

Events of 2654

At 0800 on 2654.110, the TCS Tiger's Claw dropped from jump in the Enyo system. The Blue Devil squadron took the initial patrol, while the Killer Bees were later dispatched at 1500. Alpha Wing consisted of Christopher Blair and Mariko Tanaka, piloting Hornets. They encountered three Dralthi and two Salthi, as well as navigating a pair of local asteroid fields.

The following day, at 0640, Maverick and Spirit were sent to escort a Drayman tanker to a nearby jump point. The pair, flying as Epsilon Wing, safely escorted the Drayman to the jump point, downing two Salthi and a trio of Dralthi in the process.

It was in the Enyo System that Christopher Blair would receive his promotion to 1st Lieutenant, and the Bronze Star.

Terran pilot Laurel "Cobra" Buckley of the famed TCS Victory hailed from this system.

Trivia

Enyo is one of three star systems in the Vega Sector named after one of the Graeae, the Grey Sisters in Greek mythology that were featured in the story of the Perseus known for sharing one eye and one tooth among them. Of the three systems named for the Graeae in Vega Sector (the others being Dieno and Pephedro), Enyo is the only one whose name is spelled correctly on all known versions of the Vega Sector map; the name means "horror", and she was also known as "the waster of cities".
