Cravien Shard was a bandit who operated in the Tri-System. In 2790, Shard attempted to recruit a raiding party of Kiowan pirates around his stolen military Salvia. The party included two PLM2 Vector, two MLA5 Leighat, twenty PRHB Krell and a Spaceman.
In response, the Central Intelligence Service posted a mission on the Commerce and Communications Network Bulletin Board database offering bounty hunters 13,000 CR to kill Shard and his crew. Vel Ricaud, then known as Lev Arris, accepted the mission and destroyed Shard's warship.
