A kamikaze is a suicide attack made by a space fighter against an enemy target. The word kamikaze is derived from the Japanese for "divine wind" usually associated with two typhoons that saved Japan from invasion by Kubali Khan in 1281.
Kilrathi and Terran pilots have recorded incidents of kamikaze attacks throughout the Terran-Kilrathi War. Kilrathi made a higher ratio of kamikaze attacks. Landreich pilots made several kamikaze attacks during the Second Battle of Hell Hole in 2668.
