He disappears presumably to save the effort for having to record two sets of scenes for the rest of the game - one with Catscratch, one without. | |||
As for his rank, what Star*Soldier says is considered canon and by the time of its publication, he is a retired Major General. - Wedge | |||

What happened to Catscratch in the game after the satellite incident? He sorta seems to disappear from the main storyline of the game. We know he survived, because he is featured in StarSoldier. But what was he doing in the remainder of WC4?
