Given that these articles are supposed to be written from the point of view of a historian in the 27th century, it seems strange that the Background section is so obviously written from an American point of view of the 21st century. With so much that could be written about Earth from a real-world perspective, I propose that the Background section should be removed, or at the very least severely minimised. Possibly, yeah. I wrote that background, and will consider revising it.

Question: Isn't it true that the Crusader series by Origin is set in the same universe as Wing Commander? That's what I've read before, so if it's true, I could add a little history on that.[[User:Aeronautico|Aeronautico]] 19:32, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

The reference to the WEC is an in-joke, as I understand it, and not really meant to put Crusader and WC in the same 'universe'. From what I recall, LOAF said there was one bit of technology used in Crusader that makes joining the two impossible, though I can't recall what that technology is. Teleportation? I honestly can't remember right now. - Wedge
