Star Posts are established in safe systems to coordinate sector wide campaigns; as such, very few exist. The 2654 attack on the Venice System's Star Post marked the nominal conclusion of the Vega Campaign, and made Lt. Col. Christopher Blair and Capt. Ian St. John household names. Star Posts can be confused with Supply Depots which look very similar.
